Better Behavior Dog Training was founded in 1997 to serve the seacoast area
of New Hampshire and southern parts of Maine. With our positive methods and reward-based
training, we have helped hundreds of dogs and their owners better communicate and
understand each other.
Our founder and primary instructor, Staci L. Stanley, is an honors graduate
of the University of New Hampshire. She has turned her life long love for animals
and behavior into a rewarding career of helping people with their dogs. She currently
provides private in-home training as well as group classes. Staci continues to attend
behavioral seminars and educational workshops on a regular basis. Her passions have
lead to a quarterly newsletter publication covering all aspects of dog ownership.
Not only has Staci been active with other people's dogs but with her own as well.
She regularly shows in AKC competitions. She also likes to keep her dogs active
in agility, herding, tracking and carting. You can often see her at public demonstrations
showing off her dogs' abilities. Obedience competition titles that Staci and her
dogs have earned include Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Companion Dog (CD, CDX)
and Rally (RN, RA, RE, RAE). They have also obtained Therapy Dog International
(TDI), Breed Championship (Ch) and Flyball (FD, FDX) titles.
